Denis G (born August 22, 1983 ; Mersin) is a producer, songwriter, composer, singer. ==Life and career== She started taking singing lessons in 1989, followed by guitar and piano classes. She took part in the school recitals while taking ballet lessons between 1991–1993. She was a member of the Mersin State Opera and Ballet team in 1994 where she played significant roles in various shows and recitals. In 1998 she took the conservatory exams and won the high school of Mersin University State Conservatory. Nevertheless, she decided to continue her education abroad and moved to the United States of America. She attended Santa Monica College in Los Angeles. While continuing her college education, she had the chance to work with producers such as Stephen Singer, Cat Cohen, Simone Sello, Curtis Stevenson as a singer and songwriter. In 2009, she started her career at Modakent Corporate Communications Department. In 2011, she established Setra Film Production with her brother İlker Özcan, to operate in movie, TV show and music production. In March 3, 2012, she released her first album "Heartache" which includes 11 songs -with two of the songs written by Sezen Aksu: "Heartache" and "Eloğlu". She is the writer of 7 and composer of 6 songs in the album. For the album she has worked with 6 well-known producers of Turkish pop music such as Mustafa Ceceli, :tr: Erdem Kınay, Simone Sello, Emrah Karaduman, Özgür Buldum and Ozan Bayraşa. The first music video of the album was shot for the song "Heartache" which was also featured in the final scene of the Show TV series "Adını Feriha Koydum" (episode 53). Additional videos were shot for the songs "I'm Lonely" and "Cry". Besides her album, she co-produced the movie G.D.O. KaraKedi and its soundtrack (June 2012) in which Şafak Sezer takes place as the screen-writer and the lead actor. She's currently working on a maxi-single that's going to be released and promoted in Europe in February 2013. In Turkey, she is known with her real name, Günseli Deniz.
